Castro Movie Nights is a benefit held the third Thursday of every month that raises funds to fight AIDS/HIV.
Screenland Armour has cut a special deal with the movie studios allowing for a reduced ticket price to cover the studio required minumum ticket price. $8 (or more) of the suggested minumum $12 (or more) ticket price/donation goes to the charity.
So, for the cost of a normal night at the movies, half of your costs go to a great cause. The movies will be whatever mainstream movies the Screenland Armour is showing the week of Castro Movie Nights each month.
The Screenland Armour is landmark of downtown North Kansas City that was recently reborn after a $1.5 million renovation. The theatre offers 300 plush, stadium seats, including a section of red leather recliners and two private VIP areas that can be rented out for shows.
